NU ARIA Audition PDF Excerpt: NOTHING BUT STATIC

The group audition is on Thursday, August 31st from 3-4pm, and will take place in Room 2M-109. Plan to be there the entire hour. You will simply need to prepare a 15-measure excerpt from my arrangement of a song called “Nothing But Static” by Brian Eichenberger / Eich Five.  It is the first chorus that starts with “I’m gettin’ nothing but static” starting at measure 29 (page 2) until the end of measure 44.  No need to memorize it, but you may end up memorizing it as you practice it.  At the Dropbox link listed below, there is an MP3 for whatever voice part you happen to sing.   If you happen to be a bass singer, I would love to hear you sing both the bass part and the baritone part. :-)  All of you may want to check out an ORIGINAL VERSION MP3 as well as a FULL VOCAL DEMO MP3.
